On general principle I'd suggest trying 6.3.2, though I doubt it'll
fix the problem.  You'll find it at http://fetchmail.berlios.de.

You'll also find the new lists there, where the new developers lurk.=20
AFAIK at least one does also watch this list, but you're probably best
off reposting there.
