I'd start with learning a bit more about your OS!

1) Take script "redhat_rc"
2) Change content according to your needs
3) Copy script to /etc/init.d
4) Run whatever tool is required (probably chkconfig) to add this to
your system's startup routine

I'd also recommend:

1) Using the "Reply" button
2) Finding a better mail client, that prefixes the item you reply to
with ">" (or some other character)
