You need to reconfigure (possibly after purging config.cache), just
swapping flex in is not sufficient.

6.2.9-rc8 or 6.2.5.4 should fix this, please let me know if it does and
please also let me know if it does not.

I'd recommend 6.2.9-rc8 for the nonce. We'll have a 6.2.9-rc9 towards
the end of the week after the parser fix as of a few minutes ago.
