Every evening I make a large run of spam reports to various abuse addresses=
=20
and to NANAS, at least once during every run this will show up. I've chang=
ed=20
the timeout setting up to 600s. Should I raise it even further? fetchmail=
=20
=2Dv -v shows nothing abnormal when this happens.=20

Jul =A05 20:34:20 cpollock fetchmail[7941]: timeout after 600 seconds waiti=

Jul =A05 20:34:20 cpollock fetchmail[7941]: socket error while fetching fro=
m=20
pop.earthlink.net=20
Jul =A05 20:34:20 cpollock fetchmail[7941]: Query status=3D2 (SOCKET)

It seems that about the same time I get a couple of the below postfix error=
s,=20
I wouldn't think the two are realted since one is picking up from one type =
of=20
server and the other is sending to another type of server. =20

Jul =A05 20:34:28 cpollock postfix/smtp[2332]: C1A7B4341F4: conversation wi=

smtpauth.earthlink.net[207.69.189.207] timed out while sending end of data =
=2D-=20
message may be sent more than once

Of course fetchmail eventually makes the pickup but its just an annoying=20
little thing. The same with the postfix errors I get.
