Emil:

I am not aware of any policy that CCIL uses to inform members of
potential threats. I am copying the CCIL Volunteers and CCIL Users
groups to see if anyone might be aware of any such policy that is
currently in place.

I would also like to know if anyone reading this knows anything about
whether CCIL has any automated virus detection procedures in place.

as to
what procedure CCIL has in place for folks to warn it of such viruses or
worms.  So that, in turn, CCIL can warn its user community to watch out
for and deal with such a message.

I know that quite a few users will NOT be aware of Microsoft's policy to
never send attachments.  So, in the event, like this one, that such
appears, CCIL should be warning its users.

Other ISPs that I subscribe to do put out warnings or reminders, but
CCIL seems to be a bit shy on such.
