CCIL has long been a part of Chester County and the collective goal of an
inclusive society, granting free internet access and services, striving to
fulfill a mission of free-access and local-content for web services.

As the recent letter states, the demand within the community for
volunteers and helping hands is going unfilled, but it is a common problem for
non-profit and volunteer organizations everywhere these days.

I am a Director at EPCC, the Exton PC Council http://www.extonPCcouncil.org,
we too are having a hard time filling director's seats and keeping enthusiasm
going within our organization. Also, the other professional user groups I
belong to are likewise feeling the pinch of low attentance and minimal support
from their members. In almost all these organizations, the pool of nominees
for openings at the director level just barely meets the needs.

We at EPCC, as a similar community-based organization, are going through the
same problems and we empathize with the problems you are seeing at CCIL.

Although our mission is different - that of providing face-to-face assistance
and standup presentations on PC related matters to our neighbors here in the
county - I can say that I for one, and that EPCC as a whole, will do what we
can within our mission statement to take up the slack that CCIL users might
find themselves when grappling with their PC problems in the future.

And for now, I am encouraging our membership to relay their thoughts and
feelings about CCIL and CCIL's future during this reflective period.

I and everyone at EPCC hope that CCIL will continue to exist and be a viable
asset to Chester County residents.
